Weblogic deployment 3 types of modes available.
1. Stage mode deployment
2. No stage deployment
3. External stage deployment
1. Stage mode:
Here admin server copies all deployment artifacts (deployment files) into targeted server. The target servers then deploy using their local copy of the deployment files.
This type is suitable for mid-size applications to multiple server instances or cluster.
2.No stage mode:
Here admin server not copy any deployment files, instead off all target servers uses one common
physical path or share drives. So these deployement files can be accessesable to admin and target servers for deployment.
This one is suitable for single admin sever to mutli server and large application environments.
3. External stage:
Here we need to manually copy artifacts into individual target servers before deploy files.
This one is much suitable, if you are using third party tools for staging deployment files.
